Build your cupcake order

Blue Crab Cupcakes suggests one regular or two to three minis per wedding guest. Adjust for your actual bakery sizes and dessert menu.

Jumbo has no universal conversion here: it uses the editable portion count, just like standard.
For minis, this is the number of mini groups per dessert eater; multiplied by minis per portion below.
Two to three is Blue Crab Cupcakes' wedding range. Ignored for standard and jumbo.
Use 100 when every guest should have a cupcake. Lower only for an intentional shared-dessert plan.
These are pieces of the selected size, not portions. Keep zero if favors are already in your allowance.
An editable planning choice, applied once. Do not add it again to a bakery quote that already includes extras.
Use the real order increment. Flavor-specific minimums are not included.

A portion model you can check

This is a planning estimate, not a guarantee of appetite or a bakery quote.

  • Event count = guests × dessert participation × portions per eater. Mini size also multiplies by minis per portion. Round event pieces up.
  • One regular or two to three minis per guest comes from Blue Crab Cupcakes' wedding guidance. The default 2.5 minis, 10% buffer and jumbo portion setting are editable Party Servings choices.
  • Favors = all guests × extra take-home pieces, rounded up, regardless of dessert participation. Add them before applying the buffer once.
  • Divide the buffered target by box size and round up. Box overage is shown separately, not counted as a second buffer.
  • An even flavor allocation uses the purchased total. Confirm actual size, order increments, dietary arrangements and storage with your baker.
