Most party-planning questions look simple until the details arrive. Adults and children eat differently. A four-hour wedding bar is not the same as a two-hour shower. A barbecue with three hearty sides needs a different meat plan than one with chips and a single salad.
Our calculators make those assumptions visible. You can start with reasonable defaults, adjust them for the people you know, and see exactly how the estimate changes.
What we will not pretend
No calculator knows your guests better than you do. The results are planning estimates, not guarantees. Appetite, serving style, weather, event length, dietary needs, and local package sizes all matter. We explain the underlying math so you can apply judgment instead of blindly trusting a number.
How the site is supported
The site may eventually earn revenue through clearly disclosed advertising or affiliate links. Those relationships will never change the formulas or hide the methodology.
